Opening audio queue playlist, video open multiple windows?

Is there a way to make it so that opening audio files will queue them in a playlist and opening video files will enable opening separate windows for each video? If I disable "one instance of VLC" to satisfy multiple windows for videos, I would have to manually open and close every audio file I go through.

Also, I'm not sure why sometimes there is no option to "Add to VLC playlist" when I select multiple audio files and right-click. Sometimes there is, and sometimes there isn't.
