Need joystick/joypad interface

I use my computer to watch dvds all the time. I have a wireless joypad and joystick, but i haven't found a program that will let me control the dvd player with them. I would love this feature.

VLC have some joystick control features, but only availabe in linux, and I don't know how advanced they are, since I don't have a joystick myself.

Yeah it would be great if they could fix a support for joypays in VLC. I dont think there is ANY mediaplayers out there that has support for joypads? if there is please link. thanks!
