Hello, actually this is a two part question, what I want to do is stream http h.264 mp4 mp3 sound and use vlc plugin to play it back to a webpage.
So far I managed to get this configuration to work with a local file but after some hours (12-14) sound stops. So I'm thinking to make a bat file in order to stop the stream every 8 hours and start it again.
Is there anybody that can help me with that? Is there any documentation regarding how to create a bat file containing all these?
general output stream is: :sout=#transcode{vcodec=h264,vb=400,fps=25,scale=0,acodec=mp3,ab=44,channels=2,samplerate=44100}:http{mux=ffmpeg{mux=flv},dst=:8088/} :sout-keep
Next step is to use an external source. The optimum setup would be a capture cards with an HDMI input that would encode the feed in h.264. So I was thinking something like these 2:

Is anybody has any experience with these cards? Or actually tried something like that and just choose the cards at capture device and just played with no further configuration???
Thank you in advance, I'm chasing my tail for two days now in forums so I'll appreciate any response.
