Installing VLC on Redhat Openshift Cloud

Postby seemantshankar » 13 Aug 2013 08:32

I was wanting to use VLC as a streaming server and wanted to know how to install it on a shared cloud such as Openshift or Amazon. I am not getting any information from anywhere. Can somebody please send me the generic steps that one needs to follow in installing VLC on a cloud instance? Thanks!

You probably need to compile it or use the Fedora builds.

Thank you Jean. I will try that and let you know if it works.
