Massive problems with S3 graphicchips

Postby Morgensonne » 12 Feb 2004 10:41

Hi..

i have problems watching movies with s3 graphicchips. i can watch the clip in a size of 100% (when opened) but when i wanna change the size or even go to fuillscreen i got these weird pictures. its like the first vertikal line of the mpovie is streched trough the whole window (like in screenshot).

i recognized this under windows xp home with s3 twister (notebook) and under windows xp prof. with an s3 savage 3d ddr onboard. both with newest drivers.

thanks

My laptop has a S3 savage/IX panel and I have no problems that I can attrribute to the S3 chip set. In general video playback on my Win ME system with VLC 0.7.0 goes pleasingly well.
