Track Sychronization

For playing PianoDisc files it is necessary to set the Audio Track Synchronization to allow for the system delay.
If you change this value under Tools it only lasts for the duration of one file, whereas it should remain until the player is closed or the value reset.
I know this can be permanently set under Tools | Preferences but then the player is unusable for other types of files.
