VLC for iOS makes my phone restart while forward in a movie

Postby 1314id » 23 Jul 2013 15:16

 It's weird . I found that in few movie clips , while playing with VLC , once I made a forward , my phone system restarted itself . After entering the system , no diagnostic logs existed . So I don't know what exactly happened . My phone is 4S with iOS 6.1.1 .
So I think I need some help here with many thanks , every buddy .
VLC is really an amazing job for all of my digital instruments .

Can you track this down to a certain set of movies? Are those HD? Can we get access to such a file?

You know that this shouldn't happen as VLC per-se is not allowed to crash the phone?

Oh, and can you upgrade to iOS 6.1.3 just to make sure? aaaand is this a jailbroken device?

Yeah , thanks a lot sir , thank you for your reply , yes my phone is jailbroken .
I know that a store app should not affect the phone's kernel so it's why I'm so puzzled .
But still thanks a lot for your assistant . It's not an HD movie . It seems that my phone read data from the NAND with errors , but rushplayer+ is OK . I just say that it seems like an error reading of data or GPU error while rendering .
The movie is that I put in the Document folder using iFile .... Is that the reason ? I didn't use iTunes .
