Subtitle disable

Postby MistOR » 21 Jul 2013 23:13

Windows 7 64-bit
VLC 7.0
Annoyance: subtitles

From what I've read there are two versions: hard (not going to move regardless) and soft (workable).
Under Preferences, help says it is possible to deactivate the soft version by unclicking. Not so for the hard version.

Part wish, part help request. I have five files all greater than 3 hrs run time that apparently are hard coded. Since they are in Dutch and I can recognize just enough Dutch it makes it really annoying for I either listen or read. The other problem is I want them all. Personal problem I realise.

In spite of that, I'd like to see somebodies put their heads together and come up with a solution. I'd also appreciate any clues anyone may have to solve my problem.

Regards,
MistOR

Sorry, but there is almost nothing we can do on that.
