Deblocking settings for iOS

Postby Ruffa-Duffa » 20 Jul 2013 08:47

I've been fiddling with the deblocking settings on the iOS app and it seems Low deblocking is not a good setting. Here are some snaps of the different settings as close to the same frame as I could get them.
Low Deblocking:

Medium Deblocking:

No Deblocking:

As you can clearly see in the background (between the trees) of the picture with the low deblocking setting on there is some weird stuff going on. The blurs, slightly different positions and lack/presence of the interface are all just because I'm really bad of taking snaps. Make what you will of these.

I'm worried about the quality of no deblocking, tbh.

Really? Elaborate please and are you comparing it to the quality of low deblocking or medium deblocking? But do you at least see what I'm saying about the low deblocking? I'm not sure what the technical term for what low deblocking is doing to the video is. Just curious to hear your thoughts.
