Vlc and vlc web plugin on a cubox with arm architecture

is possibile to install vlc and the web plugin of vlc on a Cubox?

Wich version of linux is better and you reccomend?

I need to create a Web page that use the VLC web plugin and play some video on a Cubox.

Any suggestion is appreciated

Unfortunately I have to use vlc!
Vlc seems to work really bad on CUBOX (and perhaps not only on CUBOX).
Starts but does not play anything and is very very slow!

The CUBOX main processor is far too slow to run VLC properly. You would need a plugin for the hardware video decoder.
