Viewing an HTML website in a playlist

I feel like this is deceptively simple, but can VLC support viewing an HTML website in a playlist?

Here is what I would like to do:

Save a playlist with the following:
Video A playback (30 seconds)
View google.com for 30 seconds
Video B playback (45 seconds)
repeat

I've tried opening media and specifying the URL, but this doesn't offer a time duration and I believe this is more for streaming content. Saving a playlist with the videos is not a problem, I'm just trying to add an HTML website view in between.
