Hi VLC community
I am part of a small film festival.
We need to show movies from a playlist in the cinema with no gui at all.
The setup is a Mac Mini with the movie files arranged into playlists connected to a local screen and the cinema projector.
How would you setup VLC so that you may control the playlist on the local screen and show the video on the cinema projector, so that you have no interference from gui or the mouse cursor in the cinema yet full control from the booth?

You should try VLC 2.1.0 to be honest.

Ok thanks I will try that. Even though I'm sure my boss won't accept that I use a non stable version of the player unless there are some very obvious benefits.

Because on OSX, the video output has been rewriting for this use case.
