Multiple Videos in Same Player

Postby tsjan » 15 Jun 2013 06:52

Hello,

I'm new and have searched the forum for my question. I wanted to know about playing multiple videos in the same player. I am not talking about Playlists, but rather playing them simultaneously. I have messed around with the "play another media synchronously" and that works, but 1. its not embedded in the player, and 2. I can only do two files at once.

I have messed around with the Image Wall and Panoramix Filters, but you can only do one video.
I want something like the Puzzle filter, but instead of a Puzzle, it would be different videos.

*Instead of a puzzle, it would be 9 different videos playing.

Anyone knows how to do this or if it is possible? If it isn't, I think it would be a really cool feature.

Thanks for any help, (I hope I posted in right section)

using VLC media player 2.0.2 Twoflower

In theory, it is possible with the mosaic. But it is really intricate to configure, and really heavy on the processor.

aww, okay smells like a challenge :)

How about a Tweak to "play another media synchronously" where you can add more than two files?
