VLC Plugin Preferences

Postby buck56 » 05 Jun 2013 06:52

Hello,

The Plugin (using Firefox on Windows) does not seem to be using any of the preferences, such as audio visualizations, filters, etc., that were set up in the VLC program. It uses some default settings.

How does one configure the Plugin to use preferences or be able to customize it like the stand-alone application?

Thank you,
Buck

The web plugin has no preferences currently. Someone would have to develop a UI for it; patch welcome.

Hello,

Not sure if it needs its own UI, but rather load the preferences from the stand-alone application.

No, many settings interfere with proper and normal operations. While they may be legitimate for VLC, they would break web usage.

The web plugin would need its own settings.
