Adding a split screen

Postby Questioneer » 14 May 2013 22:15

Peace be on all of you. I was having this thought about how to split screen and watch two movies in one window so that you can control both the movies or videos with the same buttons docked on each splitscreen and with that you can stop pause or jump forward and backward with the buttons and you all get the idea and if this feature is not in the VLC then I suggest the developers to add such feature in the next upcoming version of VLC.

We won't do that. Use multiple VLC.

Use multiple VLC.
Wanted to ask that: how do I start multiple instances of VLC? ^Cause I would like to run 2 VLC instances on 2 different monitors.. Is this possible? I have the option "allow only one instance" UNticked, but i don't know how to open another one...

Thanks and regards,

but why, it would be such a cool feature and besides running multiple VLC's are very hard to control and also inconvenient.
