High Definition video files

Postby Barryjd » 18 May 2013 13:52

Recently, many dowloaded video files of mixed formats (avi, mkv, wmv, mp4, etc.) refuse to play in VLC Media Player. Message received is "Trying to play HD file aborting redirecting to site"
Computer has i7 CPU, 8 GB RAM, Windows 7 Ultimate - 64 bit. VLC v 2.0.6 media player. I have reloaded graphic adapter drivers, ADOBE Flash Player and other checks and upgrades. Don't understand why I am unable to play High Definition video files.

VLC does not output this warming. Are you sure your files are safe?
