v2.06 crashes immediately / cont'd

Postby wul62 » 18 May 2013 08:02

There was an earlier thread titled "v2.06 crashes immediately", but as it is locked, I am starting a new thread.

Tried to play a VIDEO_TS folder.
About 30 sec from the start VLC crashed (see below, which may nót have been sent, I am unsure about that).

Tried repeatedly to start VLC but am getting the below.

On my C-drive below entries have been created

What do I have to delete? Everything?

Windows 7 x64.

Delete the whole %appdata%\vlc folder.

If it doesn't help then run VLC with this command line:

Code: Select all

vlc --extraintf=logger --verbose=2 --logfile=C:\vlc.log --logmode=text --file-logging
You may have to change the path to the destination file for a location folder where you're allowed to write in.
Then post the full resulting log.

Okay

Note that with me %appdata%\vlc is just 168k as I installed VLC elsewhere.

This is still sufficient then?
