Hi would recordings from a 'Humax HDR-FOX T2' once transferred to a 'Kindle Fire HD' play OK through the VLC Player App without the need for conversion first?

Hi the Humax recording format is M2TS & Kindle Fire HD uses the MP4 format.............................Thx
