Hello Everyone!

I`m new here and i thought i needed first an introduction. My Name is Agustin (but you can call me Bone, it´s short for my last name, anyway...). I`m from Buenos Aires, Argentina, and i`m on my last courses of Electrical Engineering. I work for a Digital TV company here and recently i´ve been sort of "promoted" and given the oportunity to recieve some trainning in embedded programing for Set Top Boxes software.
My Programming knowledge is very limited thought, i`ve had some algorithm courses at college and know some basic C, but not really more. You could say i`m a newbie, so much that i even still use windows on my computer... (i know). So in the spirit of getting more involved with the Open source community in a topic of my interes which is Video and Audio, i decided to register here. Hopefully in a future to be able to also colaborate with the Video Lan Project as a developer.

I would be glad to have a chat if there is anyone in sort of the same acreer path and wants some help, or to dicuss anything Techinical Related to Audio, video, signal processing, communications, networking, etc. I´m not a guru in any of those topics, but very enthusiastic about learning as much as i can
