Downloading Adobe media

Postby nicholas1935 » 08 May 2013 12:22

I'm a newbie. I just graduated Computer 101 and I am struggling with Computer 102.

All kidding aside, I had been using Adobe until a new virus infected my computer via adobe. It was so new that I spent many days and much money before Adobe discovered it and a patch was designed. Is there a way to open an adobe designed video without using Adobe?

On some videos, a dialog box appears: "I am sorry, but you need to download ........." , which leads to an Adobe download. I have un-installed Adobe, and will not use it anymore.

Any help you may render will be greatly appreciated.

Not being computer proficient, it took me a 1/2 hour to navigate through this site. Thanks, Nick M.

You mean Flash? You cannot. Maybe use noflash extension for your browser.
