Add a delay to a livestream?

Hi

I am using Desktop Live Streamer to watch twitch.tv livestreams on VLC, the game is Dota 2.
Now I'm wondering, would it be possible to add a delay to the VLC client so that I can sync the audio up with the ingame spectator client? The delay is 3 minutes. That way I can listen to the streamer while being in complete control of the game.


I hope I explained it clearly enough.
