How does VideoLan File Uploader work

Good day

I have created a bug report ticket and uploaded a sample video file with VideoLan File Uploader but unfortunately I do not know how to have my ticket point to the file I uploaded. Even worse is that I do not even know where my file is located now and how to get to it.

When I uploaded the file I enetered the ticket number without the hash (#) into the "Trac Ticket" field.

How is it done?

Anyway, looks like the file uploader is broken at the moment, I've tested it and no file is uploaded neither the text report file is created.

I am usually not someone that give snotty remarks on forums. I always try to be diplomatic and proper but unfortunately I have to be frank;

Yes, If you cannot ascertain that I knew that from my original post then I highly doubt you should be trying to help other people on forums because a usual prerequisite for helping others on forums would be the ability to read and comprehend. And this I say even if you have posted a million posts before because your response shows either a lack of interest or a total lack of experience! I would not be surprised if you now reply and rant on on how many users you have helped before and how superior your knowledge is. Please go ahead and confirm my opinion about you or be a good boy/girl and prove me incorrect by adding something of value to this discussion. Or maybe you will just delete my response completely so others will not notice.

I doubt that the server would have known magically which file I had in mind and uploaded it for me and magically inserted the link for me into my ticket. I am sure you have to do it manually almost the very same way you would with attachments.
All this is normal.
What is normal? That the Uploader provides no help in the matter? Is that normal? Or is it normal that no link is given to a user to insert into the ticket? I know what is normal; idiotic responses by so called "experienced" or "super" forum users.

If it was not for Lotesdelere who most probably already know how it is supposed to work and tested it I would not even know that it is most probably broken.

You asked how the samples uploaded are linked to the ticket. I gave you a clear and short answer: it is done manually, by me, based on the info written during the upload.
You can ask more info instead of insulting me.

It is normal that no link is given, for obvious reasons: we don't want to be used as for illicit purposes.
