Can't play attached (email) file

[Old Timer]

I get the following error message when I click on an attachment .wmv file in an e-mail. How can I get VLC to play it? I have no problem with playing files on my computer and I didn't have any problem before updating to 2.0.6 Twoflower.

Error Message: File reading failed:
VLC could not open the file "C:\DOCUME~1\sony\LOCALS~1\Temp\plugtmp\PLUGIN~1.WMV". (Bad file descriptor)
Your input can't be opened:
VLC is unable to open the MRL 'file:///C:/DOCUME~1/sony/LOCALS~1/Temp/plugtmp/PLUGIN~1.WMV'. Check the log for details.
