Playing time Overlay in fullscreen mode?

Postby ghostryder.333 » 16 Apr 2013 21:32

I can't seem to find how to add a playing time overlay in fullscreen mode. I was trying to add an overlay display which displays the current playing time, i mean the minutes the video is already played and how many minutes it will be played encore, which is displayed permanently if you use the player in windowed mode. Is there any way of adding such an overlay in fullscreen mode which just displays the current position of playing time of the video, without making the player look ugly? I could use vlc player in windowed mode, but this wouldn't be the best way of watching videos because there are all kinds of other elements visible too, like the task bar, the player menu, etc. What I want to have is a mode of playing videos in fullscreen with a visible timeline which doesn't look annoying while you play videos and no other elements visible of course. I hope you got what i tried to explain :D Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
