There are some .mp4 files that VLC will not play, the video freezes. These are mostly 1080p files but other 1080p files play on VLC as well. In Windows I have to use Power DVD as the workaround. On my Linux Mint system I have to use the Gnome player or XBMC media center player to view these files. I have uninstalled VLC and installed the files from VLC org 4-1 without curing the problem. Anyone have a clue to my problem or a solution? Thanks
