VLC - Windows 8 Metro Concept

Hello guys,

I just signed up to make this post. I might be a little early but I've designed a concept for VLC Metro for when Windows 8 is finally released. I'm a big fan of VLC and I'd love to see something like this come true. Also, I'd love to contribute to such a wonderful application!

There was kickstarter on Dec 29, 2012 to create new windows 8 interface for VLC. Money was raised, but people complain in comments about not satisfactory communication with people who payed for the project:

i use the last version of vlc and i can't understand why with the skin i can't drag subs inside
may some tell me?

So far, dropping subtitles on-the-fly was not implemented in the skins2 interface. A patch has just been committed to remedy this issue. You should get it in the next version.
