version 0.8.2 mpeg streaming bug?

hi there! as some of you probably know, i am using vlc as videorecorder and videoserver to watch remote tv. therefor i am recoding the stream as mp4v (remote tv) or mp1v (videorecording).

both does not work any more in 0.8.2, i do not get any picture, although this works in 0.8.1 and the nightly builds after it (latest build i use is 200504200324).

but the dshow-size bug now seems to be fixed, i also can switch to 640x480, which was not possible in the last builds.

is this an open issue or bug, or am i simply doing something wrong?

Transcoding to mp4v is broken for me too in 0.8.2

It works fine if I revert to 0.8.1

I was hoping someone would know if this is a known bug in the latest version or is it something peculiar about my setup.
