Using live sat tv as the input...
AS per the thread title, If I want to use live sat tv as the input and that input material has 2 x soundtracks, is it possible to stream this content - with the english (secondary) audio stream to compliment it?

Ok, thanks for that. I hate to be the newbie asking newbie questions - but the reality is - that I am! ...*(so apologies in advance).Yes.
How complex is it to set this up? Can you recommend some reading material for someone at my stage?

I had a same problem (multiple streams), you should look out the VideoLAN Streaming Howto (available here: http://www.videolan.org/doc/streaming-howto/en/)!
It's got a bunch of information of different VideoLAN function, helped me fix many problems when I didn't understand!
