HTTP stream

Postby veto » 02 Mar 2013 06:00

hi,

I cant get my stream to work over an internet ip.

i have selected http stream, set my audio device and set my desired port 8080.

i have configured my Router to this port making it UDP 192.168.1.4:8080

i have removed the 192.168.0.0/16 '#' in the the .host file

(also tried adding my ip+port and using 0.0.0.0/0)

i added ports 8080 8001 5554 TCP to the windows firewall

...But still i cant get it to work

127.0.0.1:8080/requests/status.xml states: "404 Not found (/requests/status.xml)"

locally the stream works.

what else can i try?

VLC version 1.1.11

I'm trying to connect a high quality 320kps audio stream to a friend...

thanks

thanks
