AACS v35

Postby luminoth » 09 Mar 2013 19:43

I apologize if this isn't the proper place for this, but I've recently purchased a Blu-Ray, "Looper" (US), that, according to makemkv, is using AACS v35. This Blu-Ray is currently not watchable with VLC, using the appropriate support libraries. I have other Blu-Rays with lower AACS versions that work fine with VLC, and continue to work fine even after having the "Looper" Blu-Ray in my drive. I know v35 support was very recently (February) added to makemkv, and I'm not sure if VLC/libaacs has any intention of supporting it, but I figured I would pass on that this particular Blu-Ray is using it and does not work.

This is not related to VLC or libaacs, but to the key file you have.
