BBC Multicast

Postby pattryn » 04 Sep 2005 12:36

Hi,

I've been trying to play the BBC multicast streaming but I always get the same error:

main error: no suitable access module for `rtsp://rm11.rdthdo.bbc.co.uk/farm/*/ev7/rmenc10.rm'

I have this problems with both, windows and Linux whilst it works fine with realplayer on Windows. Could anybody tell me why this is happening? Is videolan not supporting rtsp/multicast?

Note that access for this streamings is subject the ISP arrangements

Hi,
vlc supports supports rtsp and multicast, but not the (proprietary) Real Media codecs.

There is also an H.264 stream too. This does not work for me. Can anyone help who is on the BBC trial?
