Way to automatically split VLC output ?

Postby andredeb » 04 Jan 2013 00:52

Hi,
I record an Internet radio (m3u file) with VLC 2.0.4 and create a large mp3 file as output containing many tracks. It is on Windows 7 but it should be the same issue on other platforms. While recording VLC shows at the bottom information about the track given in the stream (I guess) such as artist name and track title.

Could VLC create a new smaller mp3 file each time this information changes and name it accordingly ?
Thank you

So far, there is no function for this.
