Great program, I'm happy to have finally found a Vorbis player for OSX.
I also have some MP3s, too, and when playing some of them I notice that the volume is inconsistent, i.e., it gets much louder (disproportionately so) when an accent is present in the music or when the music hits a louder section, like the melody in a typical rock song (also, a sudden increase in the average amplitude of the waveform, if you need a visual). This doesn't happen with all of the MP3s I have, just some, so it might be a problem with the MP3s themselves, or I might need to change a setting (I've tried turning on and off the EQ and volume normalizer, with no effect) or two. I just figured I'd let you guys know. I'm running v0.8.2 on a G4 iBook with OS X 10.4.2 . Thanks.
