Streaming Capture Card Problem

Postby tfyick » 29 Aug 2005 05:02

Hi,

I use Pinnacle WDM PCTV Video Capture capture and use SB Audigy 2 ZS Audio [3040] sound card. The capture card connected to a VHS player

When I use VLC media player I have the following parameter
'dshow:// :dshow-vdev="Pinnacle WDM PCTV Video Capture" :dshow-adev="SB Audigy 2 ZS Audio [3040]" :dshow-size="" :no-dshow-config :no-dshow-tuner'

The video play well at the VLC media player, however when I checked the stream output option with the following parameter, it can't stream the video out.

':sout=#transcode{vcodec=mp4v,vb=1024,scale=1,acodec=mpga,ab=192,channels=2}:duplicate{dst=std{access=udp,mux=ts,url=239.20.30.40:1234,slp}}'

At client side I use the following parameter:
'udp://@239.20.30.40'

In Short, VLC player can capture and play locally, but fail to stream to other clients!

Can anyone have any idea!

Thank you so much

I think the IP number at client side is not required.
