Customizing VLC controls and autoplay; different platforms

Postby mottwsc » 07 Jan 2013 02:14

We're planning to use the VLC media player with Vimeo as the hosting service.

> Can the VLC media player be easily customized to hide the controls because we need it to auto-play a video in certain cases with no pause, restart, etc.? If so, can someone point me to a resource that explains how to do this?

> Users on different platforms will be tying in - what explains the process of how they will get the right version of the VLC media player for their platform the first time they come to our website?

Thanks!

Why not using the webplugin?

Yes, it is easy to hide the controls, look at customize interface.

Thanks for your response.

I will look at the webplugin as well as customize interface. I assume both are in the help section / manual.
