Udp to Mms buffering time via udp-caching

Postby SteveO » 06 Jan 2013 21:08

Dear Forum,

I am receiving video via UDP and outputting it via Mms. Higher CPU usage or other factors can cause jitter in the video ouput display. I am attempting to add an additional second or two of buffering time to correct this, and I assume on the input is the best place to do this. I need to do this via the command line. I used --udp-caching=10000, but it did not have the expected affect. Any suggestions?

Thx.

Worked fine except there was virtually no delay introduced. For test I am using a video with a clock on it - they are basically showing the same time.
