Snap to aspect ratio

Postby Baz » 31 Dec 2012 18:23

This function would be very useful. Because when you start a video or by using CTRL + H always have to customize the width and height of the movie that would fit into the window and does not take up too much space.

On my 16:9 widescreen LCD monitor, my aspect ratio is set to 1:1, and the video autoscaling is ON. This seems optimal for all videos. I never customize width and height, and the movie takes up the full screen, no less and no more.
My desktop runs 64-bit Linux Mint Maya Xfce, my htpc runs Linux Mint Nadia Xfce, my answering machine runs Windows 7, and my laptop runs 64-bit Linux Mint Maya Mate.

I talked about the cases when the video is running in the window - the window should snap to the aspect ratio. When you change the window size or disable the interface (Ctrl + H), it is necessary to change both the width and height of the hands.
