Black screens in Fullscreen mode NOT available in Windows???

Postby Mamms » 28 Nov 2012 05:47

I usually use VLC on my Mac and I use the option "Black screens in Fullscreen mode" in the Video section of the Preferences for VLC. This way my laptop's screen can be dark while playing video on a secondary display.

I just tried to find the same option in the latest Windows version of VLC and for the life of me I can't find the option in the VLC preferences. This is awful. Why on earth is this option missing for Windows? Or, is the option hidden somewhere I can't find???? WTF??

Here's the option in the Mac version of VLC. Is this seriously missing from the Windows version???
