If you're running the official 0.7 release, go to "vout_directx" panel (the last choice in the preferences), then check the advanced box.
You'd be able to choose .//DISPLAY2 as "name of desired display device".

Unfortunatly, this option doesn't exist anymore in nightly builds :(

Windows XP, VLC 0.7.0 or 0.6.2

I've got the same problem.
When I send the video DirectX output in the second screen of my PC (the video output of a Geforce), the only thing I see is a black screen.
Last week-end, I didn't do anything particularly (I'm not really sure) and VLC sent the video output to the screen and the video output. Yesterday, it didn't work anymore. What have I done ???

Daftendireckt, I didn't see any possibility to choose .//DISPLAY2 as "name of desired display device" in "vout_directx" panel (the last choice in the preferences "module".

In short, what could I do to send the video window to the video ouput ?

Thanks a lot for your help.

I precise:
- it's without TVTool;
- last week-end, the TV output of my video card and the screen were cloned.

It meens that if I clone the two outputs, it works. Otherwise, it doesn't.
I don't know why.

Another question (and after I stop, I'm getting tired): is-it possible to force the resolution of the full-screen mode (as TVTool), cause the screen and the TV output aren't at the same resolution ?

Thanks

I don't understand anything.
Now, the screen and the video output aren't cloned, and video works in full-screen mode whatever the screen is set.

Help, I'm going to be mad ...
