YUV->RGB unchecked causes pixelation

Postby thinredline » 11 Nov 2012 20:16

Hello.
I have this problem with VLC if anyone can help me please.
Fist of all, if I leave the YUV->RGB conversion checked as it is in default, I get a washed out black (especially evident in the start of the movies eg. in the MGM logo where the bars are black, and the inside is grey)
So, I uncheck it, and this problem is solved.

But, when i uncheck it, this causes a pixelation in the movie.
I noticed it now in some red big credits in the beginning of a movie.
What do you think I should do to fix this?
