I would like VLC to retain it's size on the screen

Windows 8 64bit / VLC 2.0.4

I've posted this request a few times over the years. As operating systems and VLC change, the settings menus change. Especially now .

I would like VLC to retain it's size on the screen until I change it, regardless of the content being played. This way I can race through my video selection process. Is there a way to do this? I think VLC Media Player is a GREAT software, by the way - Thanks for your help, IM

Menu Tools -> Preferences (Show Settings = ALL) -> Video
Then on the right panel scroll down to the Window Properties section.
