Bug with sound icon

Postby cygnusx-1 » 20 Oct 2012 15:49

OS: Ubuntu 12.10 Gnome Remix i386
VLC 2.0.4

Steps to reproduce it
Play any video
Click on volume icon to disable audio (volume icon is changed to normal volume icon + red circle)
Close VLC and play any video again
Result: Audio is still disabled but the volume icon is normal (without red circle)
Can anyone confirm?
Is there any workaround?

If you mean the volume icon within VLC, this is a known issue. Hopefully it will be solved in VLC 2.1. Until then. live with it.
