No audio on Windos 7 Gateway laptop

Postby edpatterson » 06 Oct 2012 15:27

No audio, video is just fine.

I test the same files in Windows Media Player and the work just fine. Problem is I really don't care for Windows Media Player and need the extra UMPH VLC offers (100% + volume)

Gateway NE56R13u
Windows Home Premium x64
8 gigs ram
VLC 2.0.3 Twoflower

Thanks for any assistance

1) Is VLC muted?

2) Can you pastebin the VLC messages log? Tools→Messages, set verbosity to 2, then try to play your file. Copy and paste the log from that window.
