NEWBIE: downloaded video cuts off halfway

Postby Catsin » 05 Oct 2012 07:04

Hi,
I downloaded a video and the player says it is 42 minutes, but at about 18 minutes it just stops. I was watching it as a PART file as it was downloading. At first I thought it stopped because it had finished downloading, so I closed it, went to the saved file itself and opened it. (which is where the file says 42 min.) I tried it twice, and it stops in the exact same place. I tried to move the slider at the bottom somewhere later in the video and it seems like there's just nothing there.

Any thoughts? I'm not even sure what information to provide. I have XP SP3. I've had VLC on here for about two years. The download was coming from 180Upload.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks. :)

Please open Tools -> Messages (set Verbosity to 2) before you start the playback and then paste the full resulting log here or on Pastebin.com if it's too long.
