downloading dvd

Postby klastro » 03 Oct 2012 15:09

In the past, I have used VLC to download and save dvds to my computer. (It is much easier for my kids to watch them on a computer.) Now when I open VLC to do this , I'm getting a player window. Something changed. Please tell me how to get back to the simple downloading ("put down that cocktail") I had.

Save DVDs? You mean create isos?

I think so. Basically, want to save the movie that is on a dvd to my computer. It was so seamless.

It never was simple in VLC, to be honest. Use handbrake.
