Most of video files are often deleted
Most of my video files on sdcard are often deleted, but other type files are ok. I'm not sure what applicaton does or other reason. Anybody face the same problem?

Some foreign language subtitles show as unreadable codes

I doubt this is a VLC for Android problem; VLC doesn't delete any files from SD card by default unless you explicitly tell it to delete it through the user interface.
