okay I recompiled vlc with dvb support.

but i cannot do much because i can not figure out the basic format.. I figured out how to tune to the transponder but I can not seem to be able to determine the what you are using to deterinme the channel to display. I tried the the channel number SID both hex and dec. I tried the the auidio channel pid directly. many differeing options I tried

to me it seems that vlc has problems with the transport stream it self error such as transport header currupt.. but yet it able to determine tthe pids an csa. so I not certian about that

also is it possible just to beable to reroute the entire transport stream in its raw format via upd or rtp.. since it is in transport stream format already vlc should not need to convert it just pass it on directly..

or does some one else know of a way or software that can act as a router for a dvb transport stream.. ( I tried dvbstream but it is not stable with the ss2 type dvb card)

thank -you for your time

I can use
vlc -v dvb: --dvb-frequency=410000000 --dvb-srate=6900000 --dvb-modulation=64
to get the last tuned program, but did not find a way to select a new channel.
(Working with dvb-c)
