mp4 file with HW acceleration are played with no video

Postby cozydroid » 26 Jul 2012 22:47

Hey there!

I'm having some trouble playing some HD videos with android VLC (neon) + HW acceleration enabled on my Galaxy Nexus (ICS and JB - maguro GN). There is no video when playing some of the files (but audios works). I also checked the logcat ouput for some "woops" and I didn't see anything weird. If I deactivate HW, then I can play any mp4 file.

does anybody have seen this behavior? any clue?

Thx!

Not just Jellybean ; I get the same on ICS with .avi's ... when I select 'play as video' I only get sound, no picture.
Even stranger, when I select just 'play' nothing at all happens :?

EDIT: nothing in vlc_logcat files ... (with Verbose checked)
