Internet Services

Postby kamyogi » 24 Jul 2012 10:14

HI,

I am running VLC 2.0.1 Twoflower on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. My question is about Internet services available in it. While playing an item from 'Jamendo Selections', I get this message in cycle: 'Your input can't be opened: VLC is unable to open the MRL 'http://api.jamendo.com/get2/stream/trac ... ?id=341563'. Check the log for details' until I stop the item I tried to play. Is it normal?

There is no item available in Freebox TV.

Thanks for the reply.

Kamyogi :)

I don't know specifically for this stream adress but some streams are either blocked for certain contries (according to your IP) and others block specifically vlc.

You need to be a client of the French internet provider Free in a "zone degroupee" for this to work.

..not only this url, but it is the same with many others. I tried with several items, and the same error message is displayed corresponding that url. Other Internet Services work fine.
