Are there issue the firefox plugin when playing AVI via JS?

Postby swinster » 17 Jul 2012 23:49

Hi,

Firstly I'm no developer - I'm merely trying to view some learning material from a company called TrianSignal that launches a HTML page that should embed an AVI file. All I see is the VLC logo in Firefox.

If I disable or uninstall VLC, the media will play OK using the WMP plug in, however, Windows Media Player is unable to increase the tempo on an AVI file without increasing the pitch. VLC plays the raw AVI file with no issue.

There are several files that seem to be prevalent, the main HTML file, a CSS, and a couple of JS files (which I could post the content of if needed)

Many thanks

Chris
